The Directors of Research and Evaluation (DRE) is a non-profit network of school district researcher and evaluators. We meet once a year around the annual meeting of the American Education Research Association. At these meetings, we connect with our peers and learn from each other, share our best practices, learn about the latest federal policies affecting K-12 education, and discuss research and evaluation topics of common interest.

At our most recent meeting (New York 2008), we engaged in a discussion about the future of DRE as we seek to develop an organization that serves its members all year long. Please consider joining this discussion and helping shape the future of DRE.
